studio began.

My story starts long before branding or websites.

I was adopted as a child, and I know firsthand what it means when someone opens their heart and changes the entire direction of a life. That experience shaped how I see people. I believe everyone deserves to be truly seen, understood, and given the chance to become who they're meant to be.

Professionally, I started as a virtual assistant, handling admin work behind the scenes for other people's businesses. But over the years, working closely with women entrepreneurs, coaches, authors, and wellness leaders, I found myself doing more than executing tasks. I was helping them find clarity in their message, their visual identity, their whole brand story.

I kept seeing the same painful pattern: brilliant, faith-driven women hiring a patchwork of freelancers, one for branding, another for the website, another for social media, and ending up with a brand that felt fragmented. Not like them. Nobody had taken the time to truly understand who they were.

That became the mission behind The Psalms Creative: to be the person who takes the time to truly see a woman's vision, her fears, her calling, and translate that into a brand and website that finally feels like her, at the level she's already grown to.

The Story

The moment everything shifted.

For years, I ran The Psalms Creative the way I started it, as a VA. I was doing excellent work, and my clients valued it. But I had become a brand strategist and creative director without fully owning that truth.

It took losing two retainer clients I genuinely cared about to make me look honestly at what was happening. I was charging $20 an hour for work that required real creative direction, deep strategic thinking, and the kind of intuition that only comes from years of being in the room with founders at every stage of growth.

That loss became the correction. I rebuilt my pricing around value, not hours. And I rebuilt the studio around the work I was already doing, not the title I started with.

The Psalms Creative you're reading about today is the version of this studio that finally matches who I actually am.

This one is personal. As someone who was adopted, the dream of one day funding care for orphaned children in the Philippines isn't abstract — it's the fullest expression of the gratitude I carry. Every retainer renewed, every project launched, every client served with excellence moves the studio closer to the day this becomes a reality. We're not there yet. But we know where we're going.

Every Nation Campus reaches university students with the gospel — meeting them on the campuses where their values, beliefs, and futures are being shaped. The Psalms Creative supports a campus minister monthly because the schools need Jesus, and the next generation of leaders needs someone in their corner before the world gets to them first.

This isn't about a line item in a budget. It's about believing that what happens on a university campus in the next ten years will determine what the church looks like in the next fifty.

A portion of every project goes directly to campus ministry and student scholarships, because what's built here is meant to bless beyond the screen.
